The SubSea Technology Lubricator Valve (LV) is used as part of a subsea landing string for well testing and intervention services.

The LV is a hydraulically operated fail “in position” ball valve used to provide bi-directional pressure isolation in the landing string. It is used to isolate and control well pressures from below allowing surface installation of wireline, coil tubing, testing and/or intervention tools. Also it isolates and controls pressures from above for pressure testing of surface equipment before opening to well pressures.

The LV design allows tandem installation for operations requiring a dual lubricator valve. Chemical injection points and pressure bleed/relief systems can be incorporated into the valve assembly(s).

Valve control is provided by a stand alone or integrated control system via a direct connect hydraulic hose bundle.
